Listening

Hear it.

Everything this site claims is a claim you can hear, so clips live here — recorded from the plugin, with nothing after it.

No clips yet

The first listening set goes up with the beta. Until then there is nothing here to play — and nothing here will ever be a placeholder.

Clips are served from nohmtones.com itself — no embedded third-party player, no cookies, nothing that watches you listen. That is not a detail; it is a promise the privacy notice makes.

What to listen for

Three moves

Where a band starts working

Each band carries its own saturation stage, so the tone move and the harmonic move are one gesture. Listen for the moment a band stops being an EQ move.

What calibration does

Past the detent the drive sits at a different point on its curve and the two channels stop agreeing quite so well — while your EQ stays exactly where you put it. Listen for the harmonics moving and the curve not.

What a mode swap does not do

Any band becomes a compressor or a spectral processor without the curve changing. Listen for how much happens underneath the same shape.
